Gulliver's Place Rome, swift lodging service

Here below you can find a small introduction along with questions that are most frequently asked. Forgive the boringness of this pge but we try to be constructive and communicative at the same time, we hope it's not toomuch. If you can't find what you are looking for we will be pleased to answer any further question.

For those unfamiliar with what a B&B is

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, it is important to consider some of the differences between expensive full service hotels and private family homes that offer bed and breakfast accommodation.

By booking bed and breakfast accommodation you will enjoy the social and cultural benefits of meeting friendly family hosts. From time to time we become friends with our clients and many people return year after year making the bed and breakfast accommodation a home away from home.

As you will be given a key to our home we expect this courtesy to be respected. If you intend to return late at night, please be considerate of other guests. As all B&B are located in residential buildings we expect our guests to be considerably quiet when passing through the common alleys and corridors leading to Gulliver's Place. We thank you in advance for that.

An obvious but often overlooked difference between hotels and staying in a guest house, is that of service; there is no receptionist on duty all day long to await your arrival, so it is vital that we know what time to expect you, as we have daily family business to attend.

Of course the real bonus to the personal contact of staying at a bed and breakfast is that you will be staying with hosts who really know the area and can give you the best independent advice about places to eat, shop and visit, unlike hotel staff we don't expect any tipping when we recommend good places to go.Our pleasure is knowing our advice was successfull.

Staying in bed and breakfast accommodation is like having a personal guide to your holiday!

What is a B&B?
A Bed and Breakfast usually has few rooms and is usually run by the owner(s). In our case our professional background is the tourism industry so after attending customers on behalf top rated hotels we decided to do it by our name, in person, while of course still enjoying some income.

What you get at a B&B is a level of personal service and comfort that is generally not available at hotels (unless you go to the kind that charge thousands of dollars per night). Our hospitality and spontaneous service will make you want to come back again and again.

Is Smoking allowed in the B&B?
Smoking is not allowed in the Bed and Breakfast or rooms. Smoking is allowed outside. We do not allow smoking inside as it makes it hard to get the smell out of the bedding and curtains and also the next guest may be allergic to the smell. So please no smoking in the B&B.
